Many treatments are prescribed by the doctors for an ulcer patient.
One of the popular drugs is rabeprazole and it is having the ability
to treat the conditions caused by acid very carefully and
efficiently. Rabeprazole is known as an oral drug and it is used as
an antiulcer medicine. For ulcer patient, the stomach will produced
acid very largely and this is not suit for digestion. Rabeprozole is
a good medicine for blocking the production of acid by the stomach.
This medicine is in a member of the class of drugs named proton pump
inhibitors or PPI.
The Proton pump inhibitors type drugs are able to treat acid caused
conditions and it is blocking the enzyme produced by the stomach and
after these blocking, the secretion of acid is decreased in stomach.
The rabeprazole is used to treat many other diseases including
heartburn or irritation of the esophagus caused by gastro esophageal
reflux diseases. The rabeprazole is a good medicine for reducing the
elimination of cyclosporin in the liver. The usage of this medicine
will be caused to increase the cyclosporin levels in the blood.
The drugs are absorbed by the human’s stomach and the reduction in
stomach will be caused to reduce the absorption and concentration in
blood of ketoconazole or nizoral. The reduction in stomach acid also
causes to increase in absorption and concentration of blood digoxin
or lanoxin. The patient should be strictly followed by their doctors
and use this medicine only after some tests.
