The rabeprozole is used as an antiulcer drug and it is in the class
named proton pump inhibitors. FDA or Food and Drug Acministration
situated in US is approved the rabepozole sodium delayed release
tablets in July 17 in 2008. The Food and Drug Administration
approved these type pills for treating the gastroesophageal reflux
disease in adolescents. The FDA has produced its detailed report for
the usage of the rabeprozole or acipex sodium delayed release
tablets after many researches and clinical trials and they realized
that these drugs will be more effective in nearest future.
The Food and Drug Administration has approved that the expanded
indication of these drugs on June 30 in 2008. The rabeprozole sodium
delayed release tablets are very good drugs for the short term
treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD and these
tablets are approved for twelve years and older patients. The adult
patients can use the rabeprozole tablets as per doctor’s
prescription and they should take this twenty mg rabeprozole drug
once in a day for two weeks. The Food and Drug Corporation approved
this medicine after the collection of data from multicenter, open
label, parallel group safety study.
They were studied the 111 adolescents aged twelve to sixteen years
GERD patients and the study center were given ten or twenty mg of
rabeprozole for eight weeks to these patients. After eight weeks,
the result showed positive results. Nowadays the product is
producing good sale for manufacturing companies.
